Non-destructive testing and industrial quality for automotive.

DIPITECH supports automotive manufacturers and their suppliers with industrial radiography, CT, XRF/PMI analysis, automation, robotics and quality software for series production and critical components.

Industrial sector

Where inspection matters in automotive production.

On aluminum castings, battery cells and modules, welds and assemblies, inspection has to keep up with the line and leave traceable data for every part.

DIPITECH approach

What to evaluate before selecting

The technology follows the defect and the throughput. Start by deciding whether you need to check 100% of parts within the cycle time or only a sample, because that determines the choice between in-line radioscopy and CT. After that, the minimum defect size, any internal passages that need a borescope and the link to the quality system drive the choice.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

The questions we hear most often before a technical evaluation or a quote.

Which technologies can DIPITECH evaluate for this industry?

Radioscopy and CT, XRF/PMI analyzers, borescopes, robots and AMRs, and quality software for traceability.

Where does a technical evaluation start?

From a description of the part and the line: material, geometry, critical defect, cycle time, volumes and traceability requirements. With this information we prepare a proposal and the quote.

Can DIPITECH also support installation and training?

Yes, for fixed inspection systems and robots DIPITECH coordinates installation, start-up and operator training with the manufacturer. For portable instruments such as XRF analyzers and borescopes, we help you with configuration and first use.
